    How to Apply Residential Certificate Online Application

    If you want to apply for a Residential Certificate, then you have to follow the steps given below-

    First of all, you have to go to the official website of Odisha e-District. After this, the home page of the website will open in front of you.

    On the home page of the website, you have to click on the button of “Login” from the menu bar. After this, a pop up will open in front of you.

    In this pop up you can log in through OTP using your mobile number or email id or you can also enter a password. Now you have to enter the Captcha code from the given picture and click on the Login button.

    After successful login, you will have to click on the Resident Certificate for which to apply, after which the application form will open.

    In this application form, you have to enter the details of your personal information and upload all the required documents and click on the “Submit” button.

    On successful submission, an alert slip will be generated which will be available in your inbox. It can be downloaded and printed for offline reference.

    An SMS containing the application reference number will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number mentioned in the form.

    Eligibility Criteria For Odisha Resident Certificate

    The following eligibility criteria are mandatory to apply for a domicile/residence certificate of the state of Odisha.

    The person has been living in the state for a year or more.

    The records of residential plot owned by the parents or ancestors of the applicant should be related to the state

    If the applicant is married, and if the applicant’s wife is from another state, then that woman is also eligible for the state residence certificate.
